Mainframe stuff...
| JOBCARD | (8K) | ISPF Edit Macro - Save a copy of your jobcard, then insert it anytime again by entering a top-line command in your ISPF editor.. |
| FILL | (3K) |
ISPF Edit Macro - Repeat a string thru any number of columns for the entire
dataset being editted.
|
| SPFLISTC | (2K) |
Do a Browseable LISTC command from an ISPF 3.4 Screen by entering this command
beside the desired dataset.
|
* NOTE - ISPF edit macros are commands executed from the command line of an ISPF editor that cause certain actions to be performed (usually on the data being editted). For example - JOBCARD , when implemented in a mainframe environment brings up a popup window that asks the user to enter a jobcard on the four lines provided. Once entered, the lines will then be inserted at the top four lines of the JCL being editted. The beauty of this procedure is that the original information that was entered into the popup window is now saved and it will not be necessary to re-enter the Jobcard info the next time the macro is invoked.
