Featured Site

Once in a while a web site comes along that really catches your eye or says something that leaves an impression. I decided to share some of the sites that, in my opinion, are truly unique. This week's featured site is listed below. Following that are past featured sites. Check these sites out for yourself and see if you don't agree.

  "Wugnet"

Past Featured Sites..

"Gurujeff "

In the tradition of past wise men, Guru Jeff interprets modern life and brings it down to earth for the rest of us! Truly a blast, this site (or should I call it an insite) offers a relief from the everyday hassles by letting us laugh at ourselves (and others too). Check it out!

"Designed to a "T"!"

I recently ran across this gem of a site while looking for graphics related sites and I must say that I was not disappointed. What I found was a beautiful site with free graphics, plus tutorials on designing graphics. If you are looking for someone to design your web site, check out the portfolio - some great work!

"TransWeb"

They were at the U.S. Transplant Games gathering news and providing E-mail service. They are a non-profit organization who provide a great service for us all. This site has a special meaning to me. It has a wealth of information about transplants and organ donation. Even if you are not a tranplantee or know anyone who is - you owe it to yourself to find out about organ donation and how it affects us all. Take a few minutes to check out this site and find out for yourself.

"Y'all.com"

Remember that TV show "Northern Exposure"? Well this site is definitely "Southern Exposure"! A site to introduce all us Yankee's to some of the finer things in life such as Old Southern recipes like Chocolate gravy and of course "Grits" (I love 'em). Tour this site for an experience in Southern living that you won't soon forget!

"Connie's Home Page"

So - expressed yourself lately? Do you have any worthwhile opinions? Do you like GODZILLA? Come visit the Connie's Web Site and and leave smiling! Connie's got a lot on her mind and doesn't mind sharing - her site's got great background music and lot's of other interesting stuff. You won't be disappointed!

"Grandma's Playhouse !"

Got a hankerin' for some down home entertainment. Enjoy hobbies like: wood carving; stained glass; or disk blade art ? Or - how about a trip to Cajun country down in Southwest Louisiana to visit a rice farm ? All of this plus accompanying MIDI music and links to various other sites makes Grandma's Playhouse a site worth seein' !!

"Boogie Jack's !"

Looking for a little fun or - maybe something out of the ordinary ? Boogie Jack's will fill the bill. Chock full of free stuff like Fonts and Backgrounds, Boogie Jack's offers resources for your homepage. Be sure to check out the " WACK ATTACK " section also. Great fun for all.

"Big Nose Bird !"

Billing itself as "The strangest name in Web Resources" - this site is anything but strange. Well layed out with nearly any resource needed by the budding webster - a very nice site indeed !

Wonderful photography and all of the pictures are yours to set as wallpaper. They are shown as thumbnails (until you click on them) and come in several categories. Look these 800x600 images over and decide for yourself !
